Introduction

Spend a day with one of the countries most sought after experts in clinical composite techniques. If you still struggle for routine success, this is the program for you.

Posterior composite "fillings" are becoming the restoration of choice in most practices. Dentist preference and patient demands are diminishing or eliminating the use of amalgam. Anterior composites have unique problems as well and require technique modifications. The objective of this session will be to present proven techniques that will minimize or eliminate problems like sensitivity, contacts, voids, leakage, contour, and time. Dr. Belvedere will share his years of experience perfecting posterior and anterior composite techniques that make sense and work.

Topics

  1. Bulk placement instead of layering eliminating post-op pain.
  2. Learning "thru-the-tooth" (TTT) polymerization techniques for shrinkage control.
  3. Creating tight contacts in all situations.
  4. Time efficient occlusal shaping and finishing.
  5. The use of the contour strips for all anterior direct situations
  6. Become skilled at using the Contour Strip, for anteriors and posteriors, and a crown shaped matrix for posteriors, along with the Triodent Matrix System, a sectional system.
  7. Gems for optimizing Anterior Composites.
  8. Problem solving through direct posterior placement for geriatric, trauma, and other situations.
