A. Introduction to Dentistry – Optional

Learning how to communicate in dentistry. The purpose of this program is to educate individuals with limited or no dental background in the language of dentistry. Understanding dental terminology is a mandatory first step when considering a career in dentistry.
1. Introduction to CAD/CAM Dentistry
May 31-June 1, 2019
Part 1 will cover the technologies and materials used in CAD/CAM dentistry. A thorough understanding of all the components and how they inter-relate is an essential foundation for future training. Participants will view demonstrations and be provided examples of outcomes. Upon completion, participants will learn and understand the broad scope of this new and exciting area of dentistry and get a glimpse of the future and the pathway to a new and exciting career.
2. Introduction to Design & Manufacturing
June 7-8, 2019
Getting started with the basics. Learn how to scan models and impressions, design, sinter, and finish single unit restorations. Learn the limitations of various ceramic and metallic restorations and gain actual hands-on experience. The goal of Part 2 will be to get participants started designing and using technologies, materials and techniques used in the fabrication, coloring and the finishing of simple restorations.
3. Intermediate Design & Manufacturing
July 10-13, 2019
Learning a new technique or procedure requires an incremental approach to learning and includes hands-on experience. Part 3 of this CAD/CAM Training Series will briefly review what has already been covered in Part 2 and continue the training process to include more complex and challenging restorations. Multiple unit restorations including full contour, frameworks and milled provisional restorations will be covered. The use of a digital articulator will also be introduced. Upon completion of Part III of this training series, participants will expand their CAD/CAM skills to include multiple unit restorations.
4. Advanced Design & Manufacturing
August 7-10, 2019
Part 4 of this series will teach the process and design of even more advances and demanding restorations. It will include full arch restorations, replication, implant abutments, and implant restorations. It will also expand on achieving a higher level of esthetic results with advanced coloring and finishing techniques. Upon successful completion of this training series, participants will be ready to enter into this exciting new dental occupation.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing, signed, and are dated when received at EP. If cancellations are made 30-60 days before the start of the program, 25% of the total tuition must still be paid. 100% of the total tuition is transferable to another program for one year with no penalties. If cancellations are made 0-30 days before the start of the program, 50% of the total tuition must still be paid. 75% of the total tuition is transferable to another program for one year. If cancellations are made after the start of the program, 100% of the total tuition must still be paid. 50% of the total tuition is transferable to another program for one year. Esthetic Professionals reserves the right to cancel any program seven days prior to the starting date. 100% refunds will be given or transferred to another program.
Esthetic Professionals is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership, and membership maintenance credit.
