Treating completely edentulous patients is one of the most demanding but also one of the most profitable components of private practice. Planning and restoring edentulous arches with with implants require a very different approach than traditional fixed prosthodontics. It requires an in-depth knowledge of denture prosthodontics that is superimposed over implant placement and prosthesis design and selection. There are many restorative choices that will dictate implant numbers working knowledge of choices available and prosthesis design is critical in the contemporary world of implant prosthodontics.
This 2-days course (Lecture and Hands-on sessions) is designed for dentists who want to learn how to diagnose and treatment plan completely edentulous patients.

Day 1 & 2 Lecture

The lecture portion of this 2-day course will cover principles of treatment planning of many clinical situations in an interactive setting. Treatment options include 2 vs 3 vs 4 vs 5 vs 6,7,8,9, or 10 implant prostheses with an emphasis of the 2-implant prosthesis and of “all-on-4” implant prosthesis concept.

It is designed to let you perform the pick-up of 2 RTx attachments for a 2-implant prosthesis
Day 2 Hands-On
2:00 PM-5:00 PM
It is designed to let you perform a pick-up impression, transforming the complete denture into an interim fixed “all-on-4 prosthesis”, and placement of “all-on-4” prosthesis.

Dr. Tony Daher, DDS, MSEd, FACP
Dr. Tony Daher began practicing dentistry in California in 1982 and his love for teaching promoted him to earn in 1984 a Master’s of Science degree in Medical Education from the University of Southern California (USC).
Dr. Daher received a postgraduate certificate in Prosthodontics in 1988 from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Daher is the co-director of the Global Dental Implant Academy (GDIA). He is a former Associate Professor and past prosthodontic director at Loma Linda University, and past Lecturer with the Advanced Prosthodontic Program at UCLA. He maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry in LaVerne, California. He has written many scientific and clinical articles, Textbook chapters and eBooks chapters (over 50 scientific articles and book chapter) and has lectured nationally and internationally about Prosthodontics (over 150 presentations). Dr. Daher is active member in many dental and prosthodontics societies.
