INTRODUCTION
This 2-day seminar consists of lecture and a hands-on portions. The seminar begins with Dr. Tony Daher outlining the problems encountered with diagnosing partially edentulous patients with implants. Fixed Partial Dentures (FPD) on implants presents numerous challenges to the clinician. These challenges can vary from simple functional and esthetic problems to more complicated ones. An organized treatment plan is necessary to overcome these problems leading to predictable and acceptable results. A variety of treatment options and prosthesis designs will be described. Many clinical situations will be presented with a step-by-step simplified approach.
Dr. Tony Daher began practicing dentistry in California in 1982. His love for teaching led him to earn a Master’s degree in Medical Education from USC in 1984. Dr. Daher received a postgraduate certificate in Prosthodontics from UCLA in 1988. He has served as clinic director for the International Student Program at USC, and director of the Advanced Prosthodontic Program at Loma Linda University.
