INTRODUCTION
Direct tooth bonded, esthetic restorations have become one of the most requested and preformed procedures in any growing dental practice today. It is vital to the success of the practice that the procedure goes smooth and free of problems. A thorough review of dentin bonding techniques and materials will kick off a comprehensive hands-on clinic on the clinical technique and material selection for Class II restorations. You should leave this course with a high level of predictable success and comfortable applying these techniques clinically.

This course has been designed for all clinicians who wish to improve their knowledge and clinical skills in the area of direct adhesive materials.

  • Review of current dentin bonding systems and light curing techniques.
  • Review of current materials available for direct posterior restoration.
  • Techniques for the formation of predictable inter-proximal contacts every time.
  • Techniques for quadrant/multiple teeth with adjacent boxes.
  • Discussion of the glass ionomer open sandwich technique.

Participants are not required to bring any supplies, but if they have any preferred instruments for placement of restorative material, bring them. Magnification/loupes are always recommended.
