The achievement of becoming an Accredited Member of the AACD is not something many can master, and Dr. Kristi Crispin is one of the few top-notch dentists in the world that has done so.
The AACD is the world’s most prestigious nonprofit member organization that is dedicated to advancing excellence in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry and encouraging the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsible patient care. With more than 6,000 dental professionals, laboratory technicians, educators, and researchers from 70 countries worldwide the AACD has only 350 dentists in the nation that achieve thehighly specialized and prestigious honor of Accreditation. Dr. Kristi Crispin is extremely proud to be one of them.
Dr. Kristi Crispin and her father Dr. Bruce Crispin are the only father/daughter team in California Accredited by the AACD. Dr. Bruce Crispin and Dr. Kristi Crispin achieved their Accredited Member status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in February 1997 and February 2013 respectively.
This achievement of becoming an Accredited Member in the AACD is a rigorous 5-year long credentialing process that requires multiple case submissions, written examination, oral examination submissions and the approval of clinical cases for peer-reviewed evaluation. To complete this process, Dr. Kristi Crispin was required to submit five required case types that demonstrated cosmetic excellence in a range of disciplines including implants, veneers, tooth replacement, and direct resin composite restorations.
