Simplifying Complex Reconstructions Part I: Segmenting & Simplifying Occlusion For The GP
Many practices have patients requiring comprehensive restorative care, which often goes untreated due to financial constraints or dentists’ lack of expertise. This program aims to address both challenges by demonstrating how to successfully manage complex reconstructions and occlusal issues, skills accessible to any dentist. The course will showcase that restoring complex cases is more manageable than perceived. Over the past three decades, dental schools have failed to adequately teach occlusal principles, articulation, and their relevance in restorative dentistry. Consequently, many dentists lack confidence in handling intricate restorative cases and may not employ the correct techniques and philosophies. This course is structured to guide dentists on sequencing complex cases effectively and meeting diverse patient needs. Additionally, it will revisit occlusal philosophies, principles, function, articulation, and their practical application in modern restorative dentistry. This marks the beginning of the Advanced Fixed Mentorship program.
