INTRODUCTION

This course is design for dentists who want to improve their skills in diagnosing, designing, and fabricating removable partial dentures (RPD). Dr. Tony Daher will outline the problems encountered with RPD’s that often lead to unsightly and uncomfortable results. He will discuss how to gather adequate diagnostic data needed to formulate an organized treatment plan leading to an excellent outcome.

Lecture

  • Review the RPD design and treatment principles
  • Fabricating RPD’s using attachments and implants
  • Description of practical attachments and implants
  • Systematic approach to solving esthetic and functional problems

Hands-On

  • RPD Design exercises – various situations on multiple casts
  • Discussion on RPD designs and alternatives
