Ceramic Bridges

All ceramic bridges provide an alternative to ceramometal when not desired for selective reasons. (See Examples Below)

• Conventional and low strength pressed ceramic bridges are contraindicated (empress)

• High strength pressed ceramic bridges are indicated for replacing single anterior teeth and bicuspids when greater translucency is required. It should be limited to minimal to low stress situations and adhesive technology is required.

• High strength milled ceramic (zirconium) bridges can be used as an alternative to ceramometal in most instances when an all ceramic option is desired. Adhesive technology not required.
