Ceramometal
Ceramometal
Ceramomental historically was the most used indirect restoration in the world and was indicated when a combination of strength, predictability, and esthetics was desired. Maximum tooth reduction is required but adhesive technology is not. Many ceramic and metal combinations exist. EP uses only the finest ceramic materials but provides several metal choices to meet every dentists and patients needs.
Ceramometal is still indicated for long span posterior bridges and especially if space is limited and functional demands are high.
Zirconium has replaced metal for most indirect restorations where optimal strength is desired.
- Traditional Stacked Ceramic: Used when optimal esthetics are desired.
